WP3 Strategy Workshop – Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, October 9 – 10, 2025
The Work Package 3 Strategy Workshop of the BIOMEDIX project took place on October 9–10, 2025, at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania). Representatives from all consortium partners attended the meeting to discuss the progress of the project and plan the implementation of WP3: Development of the BIOMEDIX e-Toolkit for biomedical applications of additive technologies.
During the workshop, partners reviewed the progress of the BIOMEDIX e-Book and digital applications, defined five case studies related to biomedical 3D printing and bioprinting, and discussed upcoming project activities, including training events, hackathons, summer schools and transnational project meetings.
The second day included a large dissemination and student workshop, gathering over 150 participants from technical and medical study programs. The event presented BIOMEDIX results and introduced opportunities for international diploma projects and research collaboration, with contributions from academic partners and industry representatives including Materialise and ViscoTec.
