Kick-Off Meeting – Riga Technical University, October 14, 2024
The BIOMEDIX project Kick-off Meeting took place on October 14–15, 2024, in Riga, Latvia, hosted by Riga Technical University during the RTU International Teaching Week. Representatives of all consortium partners from universities and industry attended the meeting.
The event combined consortium discussions and public lectures for students, presenting topics such as biomedical 3D printing, digital technologies for medical product development, and mixed reality applications in healthcare. During the meeting, partners reviewed the project objectives, work packages, timeline, and management procedures, and formally established the BIOMEDIX Consortium Council.
The meeting also included laboratory visits at RTU and discussions on upcoming project activities, including the first strategy workshop and development of the BIOMEDIX educational e-book.
