MULTIPLIER EVENT ON BIOMEDICAL INNOVATIONS THROUGH DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION \u2013 October 27, 2025 <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On 27 October 2025, Pozna\u0144 University of Technology (PUT) hosted the first BIOMEDIX Multiplier Event, bringing together researchers, industry representatives, healthcare professionals, and students to explore the latest developments in digital transformation in biomedical engineering. The event attracted 70 external participants on-site, along with additional online attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program presented the main results of Work Package 2, including the BIOMEDIX e-Book and its AR\/VR educational tools, developed to support innovative biomedical education. Experts from partner universities and industry leaders such as Materialise and ViscoTec shared insights into emerging technologies including 3D printing, bioprinting, virtual and augmented reality, and digital medical device design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants also engaged in a practical workshop on Mixed Reality applications in medicine and interacted with 3D-printed biomedical models developed within the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiplier Event was a huge success, with the number of participants doubling the initial expectations. It not only disseminated BIOMEDIX’s innovative outputs but also strengthened partnerships across Europe, paving the way for further advancements in biomedical digital transformation. Aftermath of the event was reported in Faculty\u2019s social media, as well as in the university\u2019s newspaper (G\u0142os Politechniki).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
