BIOMEDIX Hackathon and Biomedical Engineering Session \u2013 Pozna\u0144 University of Technology, May 21, 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On 21 May 2026, Pozna\u0144 University of Technology (PUT), Poland, hosted the BIOMEDIX Hackathon and a special conference session dedicated to Biomedical Engineering and Additive Technologies within the MANUFACTURING 2026 conference. The event brought together students, researchers, and industry representatives from the BIOMEDIX consortium to exchange knowledge and develop innovative solutions addressing current challenges in healthcare and biomedical engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the conference session, international student teams participated in a one-day innovation hackathon focused on 3D printing, bioprinting, medical devices, regenerative medicine, and digital healthcare technologies. Participants worked under the guidance of academic and industry mentors to develop concepts ranging from personalized wound-healing systems and smart biomedical dressings to advanced prosthetic and implant solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hackathon concluded with team pitch presentations, expert feedback, and discussions on future development pathways. The most promising concepts will be further explored through BIOMEDIX educational activities, student projects, internships, theses, and future collaborative research initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
