BIOMEDIX Multiplier Event – “Digital Transformation in Biomedical Engineering” at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca – October 9th, 2026
Join us on 9 October 2026 at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca for the BIOMEDIX Multiplier Event, organised within the ERASMUS+ KA220 BIOMEDIX project.
The event brings together students, academics, researchers, medical professionals, engineers, and industry representatives interested in developing medical products and applications using 3D printing and bioprinting, 3D scanning, CAD, virtual reality, and related digital technologies.
What to expect:
🎓 Thesis topics and student projects – Discover BIOMEDIX case studies and new thesis opportunities supported by project partners.
🌍 International experts – Meet academic, medical, and industry specialists from BIOMEDIX partner countries and explore current developments in biomedical engineering.
🖨️ Exhibition and live demonstrations – Explore 3D printing and scanning technologies, materials, CAD and medical software, and virtual reality applications.
✈️ ERASMUS+ and BIOMEDIX opportunities – Learn about mobilities, BIPs, workshops, training activities, summer schools, and other opportunities planned for the next academic year.
🤝 Industry, healthcare and entrepreneurship – Connect with companies, medical institutions, clusters, and development organisations and explore opportunities for collaboration, projects, and new business ideas.

Students can also register as event volunteers, supporting organisation, technical assistance, promotion, photography and video, guest coordination, and other activities. Participating volunteers will receive certificates recognising their contribution.
